I bet you have seen variations of the Choc Banana bite all over social media and for good reason. The combination of chocolate and banana is honestly a match made in heaven and if you haven’t tried it already, I beg you to do so.
I won’t bother with a recipe card here. These little sweet treats are SO easy to make and only 4 ingredients, which you most likely have on hand right now.
All you need is your favourite dark chocolate (mine is from alter eco), peanut butter (find yourself a no additive butter, like the ones from Mayvers) a couple bananas, and some sea salt.
- Cut your bananas into bites sized chunks and lay out on a baking dish facing upwards. Top the banana with a small spoonful of peanut butter and then place into the freezer.
- Break off about a half block of chocolate into a small saucepan on low heat, if you like you can add a dash of coconut oil to make it more smooth and easy to drizzle.
- Take bananas out of the freezer and use a spoon to carefully drizzle chocolate over the bananas.
- Place back in the freezer for atleast 10 minutes or until chocolate has hardened.
- Sprinkle sea salt over the top and enjoy!
